There are a lot of...unfortunate...things about today’s younger generation. They are obsessed with their phones. They don’t seem to understand the actual spelling or grammar of the English language. They have never played the Oregon Trail and they think they made acid wash jeans and side braids stylish. Wrong.

But the most tragic thing about millennials is actually none of this, if you ask us. To us, it’s the fact that a generous portion of these young adults have never seen The Goonies! We know; it’s an absolute outrage! So we’re organizing a strategy to rectify this horrific and obviously detrimental issue. Watch parties. All across the land, we want to see the millennials meeting and falling in love with Mikey, Data, and of course...Chunk and Sloth. This is a project for the good of humanity and the survival of our civilization. So all we want to ask you is: are you in to do the Truffle Shuffle? Remember: it’s for the kids. The kids!

We’re glad you’re with us. Now toss on this licensed look at embody your (and everyone’s) favorite Goonies character. This outfit combines Chunk’s Hawaiian-print shirt, plaid pants, red windbreaker, and even his curly wig! Now that you look the part, set up a screening in your hometown and invite anyone who has never seen the film. Make them leave their cell phones at the door (otherwise they can’t focus on anything) and then sit back and watch as they get to seek the treasure of One-Eyed Willy for the first time. And you have to admit, it’s sort of a win-win for you: you get this sweet costume, and you get to do something good for the future generation. It’s exactly the kind of think Chunk would do.

Imagine what it’d be like if you were friends with the Goonies. You could go on crazy adventures (insanely dangerous) adventures with them, staying one step ahead of comically inept fugitives while hunting for lost treasure. You could trade wisecracks with Mouth, tease Brand about his crush on Andy, experiment with kooky inventions with Data, and, best of all, share a Baby Ruth with Chunk!

Chunk is kind of the group’s bumbling comic relief, but this guy is actually pretty cool in his own right. Besides being a great dancer (c’mon, have you ever seen a better Truffle Shuffle? We didn’t think so), he also manages to find the secret tunnel under the Fratellis’ restaurant that leads to the hidden pirate ship. He rushes to get help when his friends are in danger… even if he accidentally runs right to the Fratellis (it’s the thought that counts). And he’s brave and kind enough to befriend Sloth, who ends up saving the day. Heck, he even convinces his family to adopt Sloth in the end. Now, that’s true friendship!

We know you wish you could be friends like Chunk, just like we do, but we’ll all have to settle for the next best thing: dressing your kid up like him with this Goonies Child Chunk costume! The officially licensed costume perfectly recreates the chubby character’s questionable style choices. It comes with plaid slacks, a floral Hawaiian-style button-up shirt, an orange snap jacket and even a wig to mimic Chunk’s unruly mess of hair! There are so many great things about Steven Spielberg’s beloved classic, “The Goonies,” that it’s really hard for us to pick out our favorite—but we’d have to go with Chunk.

Chunk was the bumbling comic relief of the Goonies ensemble, and he was truly hilarious. He always had a Baby Ruth (or two, or three…) in his pocket, and he introduced us all to the wonder of the “Truffle Shuffle.” But Chunk wasn’t just a pudgy, pratfalling sidekick. He actually helped the Goonies find the pirate treasure in many ways, from discovering the tunnel underneath the Fratellis’ restaurant to befriending Sloth, who saved the day in the end. Without Chunk, the Goonies would have been sunk! He truly is an underappreciated guy who deserves a little less teasing and a little more love.
