Quotes:

  • Jacob Fuller: I'll be a lap dog of Satan.

  • Richie Gecko: The Ranger's taking a piss. Why don't I just go there, blow his head off and get outta here.
Pete Bottoms: Don't do that! Look, you asked me to act natural, and I'm acting as natural - in fact, under the circumstances, I think I ought get a fuckin' Academy Award for how natural I'm acting.

  • Seth Gecko: I know that I have put you through hell, and I know that I have been one rough pecker. But from here on, you are all in my cool book.

  • Earl McGraw: Well, it's been one long goddamn hot miserable shit-ass fuckin' day every inch of the way.

  • Seth Gecko: Well, your best better get a hell of a lot fucking better, or you are gonna feel a hell of a lot fucking worse.

Trivia:

  • The dialogue between Kate and Seth while awaiting the final vampire attack ("use 'em on the first couple of these parasites that try to bite you") is virtually word for word from Assault on Precinct 13.

  • The line "I've got six little friends and they can all run faster than you can" is a reference to That Darn Cat!, in which Frank Gorshin utters the same dialogue to a kidnapping victim.

  • Salma Hayek plays a stripper from hell. Later in Dogma she plays a stripper from heaven.

  • This is one of three movies directed by Robert Rodriguez that feature the tattooed tough guy, Danny Trejo. He was also in Desperado and Spy Kids. In all three movies, his character had a "knife" name: Navajas in Desperado (Navajas is Spanish for "knives", which his character used as throwing weapons), Razor Charlie in From Dusk til Dawn, and Isador "Machete" Cortez in Spy Kids.

  • The introduction Razor Charlie gives Santanico Pandemonium ("The mistress of the macabre, the epitome of evil, the most sinister woman to crawl on the face of the Earth.") is taken directly from the intro used for 1970s Los Angeles TV Horror Host "Seymour", played by the late Larry Vincent (and predecessor to "Elvira" (Cassandra Peterson)).
