Quotes:

  • Alice: I'm not sure I want to remember what went on down here.
James Shade: I don't blame you.

  • Rain: All the people that work here are dead.
Spence: Well that doesn't stop them from walking around.

  • Kaplan: You're going to have to work for your meal.

  • Red Queen: I've been a bad, bad girl.

  • Rain: No pressure, guys.

Trivia:

  • Producer Jeremy Bolt appears as a zombie several times throughout the movie.

  • The events of this movie take place a few days before the first game in the Resident Evil series and it's last few scenes (with Alice waking up in a zombie filled Raccoon City) take place during the second game.

  • Director George A. Romero was originally attached to write and direct, but left the project due to creative differences over the script.

  • One of the men in white biohazard outfits close to the end of the movie makes a reference to transporting Matt to the 'Nemesis' project. The Nemesis is the creature that persues Jill Valentine through Biohazard 3: Last Escape.

  • After George A. Romero left the production in July 1999, the project was dormant for over a year before Paul W.S. Anderson signed on to write and direct the movie.

Credits Fun:

  • Near the end of the credits, we hear a line of dialogue from Michelle Rodriguez: "When we get out of here, I think I'm gonna get laid."
