Quotes:

  • Casey: Who's there?
Ghostface: Never say who's there? Don't you watch scary movies? It's a death wish. You might as well come out to investigate a strange noise or something.

  • Tatum: Billy and his penis don't deserve you.

  • Tatum: "I'll send you a copy." BAM! Bitch went down. "I'll send you a copy." BAM! Syd! Superbitch!

  • Gale: Look, Kenny, I know you're about fifty pounds overweight, but when I say hurry, please interpret that as MOVE YOUR FAT TUB OF LARD ASS NOW!

  • Randy: Listen up. They found Mr. Himbry dead. He was gutted and hung from the goal post on the football field.
Drunk Teen: Well what are we waiting for? Lets go over there before they pry him down!

Trivia:

  • When Casey's parents come home and see that something is wrong, her father says to her mother, "Go down the street to the Mackenzies' house..." which is a quote from Halloween.

  • Casey claims that all of the sequels to A Nightmare on Elm Street "sucked". Wes Craven had sold the rights to sequels before the film was a success and disliked many of the sequels. See also: A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge.

  • Sidney's friend said she can picture Meg Ryan playing her if they ever did a movie about her. Sidney said, "My luck they would Cast Tori Spelling to play me." Tori Spelling was cast to play her in Stab shown in Scream 2.

  • Tatum's house in Scream is right across the street from the house used in Pollyanna, located in Santa Rosa, California.

  • The song "Don't Fear the Reaper" can be heard; in Halloween, Annie and Laurie listen to it in the car.

Credits Fun:

  • No thanks whatsoever to the Santa Rosa City School District Governing Board.

  • Just before the end credits start to roll, there is a quick flash of Ghostface, it happens so quick, it causes the viewer to doubt they actually saw it.
