The crew of Voyager discover a strange ocean world in space and offer to help the inhabitants discover why the ocean is loosing water. Paris tells the story of the episode from the ships brig to his father as a effort to pass the time. When the world is discovered, Paris interrupts Kim in the middle of his Chaotica holodeck adventure.
